President Murmu Appoints New Governors for 9 States and UTs

Appointments: Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Syed Ata Hasnain was appointed as the Governor of Bihar, succeeding Arif Mohammed Khan.

- Jishnu Dev Varma, currently serving as the Governor of Telangana and former Deputy Chief Minister (DyCM) of Tripura, has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra.
- Shiv Pratap Shukla, currently serving as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh (HP), has been appointed as the Governor of Telangana.
- Nand Kishore Yadav, former Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, was appointed as the Governor of Nagaland.
Transfers: R.N. Ravi, Governor of TN, was appointed as the Governor of WB following the resignation of Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose.

UT Changes: Taranjit Singh Sandhu was appointed as the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of NCT of Delhi and Vinai Kumar Saxena was transferred from his post as LG of Delhi to serve as the LG of Ladakh.
