IBM Launches Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Center in Bengaluru to Boost Enterprise AI Development
In March 2026, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) launched its first Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Center at the India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The centre aims to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for advanced infrastructure engineering and Artificial Intelligence (AI) development.
Objective of the Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Center: The newly launched centre is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI systems by integrating infrastructure technologies, hybrid cloud capabilities and AI solutions under one platform.
Collaboration: The Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Center functions as a collaborative engineering hub. It will bring together IBM’s systems architects and infrastructure specialists from ISDL to co-create AI solutions with a wide ecosystem of partners, including clients, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Global System Integrators (GSIs), Global Capability Centers (GCCs), and ecosystem partners.
Technology: The facility integrates cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, hybrid cloud capabilities, and AI solutions under one roof. This integration is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of secure, scalable, and responsible enterprise AI systems.
