India Won ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Title 2026 by Defeating New Zealand by 96 Runs in Gujarat
On 8 March 2026, the India men’s national cricket team won the 10th edition of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s Twenty20 (T20) World Cup 2026 by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs in the final held at the world’s largest cricket stadium ‘Narendra Modi Stadium’, Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

  • India won its third ICC T20 World Cup title, having previously won the second title in 2024 and the first in the inaugural 2007 edition, becoming the first team to successfully defend the championship.
