Romania Ratifies Framework Agreement of International Solar Alliance
In March 2026, Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania, submitted the Instrument of Ratification to P.S. Gangadhar, Joint Secretary and Head of Depository at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), formally confirming Romania’s ratification of the Framework Agreement of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
Ratification of ISA Framework Agreement:
Background: In December 2023, ISA announced that Romania signed the Framework Agreement and joined as the 118th member country.
Ratification: The ratification was completed after Romania deposited its Instrument of Ratification of the ISA Framework Agreement, thereby officially becoming a member of the alliance.
