Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority is likely to launch an AI-powered feature that will reduce the refund time for low-value (below ₹5 lakh) share claims to 6-7 days, Moneycontrol reported. Currently, all claims take around one month to be processed after approval. However, the manual intervention for approval will remain same, but the way shares are processed will change.
