Kashmiri separatist leader Asiya Andrabi was convicted in a UAPA case by a Delhi court. Head of all-women separatist group Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Andrabi was charged by the National Investigative Agency (NIA) with waging war against India through hate speeches and criminal conspiracy. Her outfit, Dukhtaran-e-Millat rose to prominence in 1991 after it launched a campaign to enforce veil in Kashmir.
