Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Republic Day 2026 ‘At Home’ invitation showcases heritage of India’s North-Eastern states. The cover and box are made of bamboo, culturally significant in the region, with decorative motifs inspired by Assamese manuscripts. The invitation contains handwoven Puanchei (shawl or wraparound skirt) worn in Mizoram and also fabric adorned by the Khiamniungan Naga tribe of Nagaland.
