Donald Trump said Venezuela cost US "billions of dollars" by unilaterally seizing US oil and assets. "We built Venezuela's oil industry with American talent, drive and skill, and the socialist regime stole it from us...through force," he said. US oil companies will spend billions to fix Venezuela's "badly broken" oil infrastructure and "start making money for the country", Trump added.
