Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday urged the Tamil Nadu government to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, saying Tamil should be the medium of instruction up to Class 5. Pradhan said if they encourage the use of mother tongue in early stages and "take care of the children, they will be the future leaders of our society".
