CBI arrested DGCA official Mudavath Devula and Reliance Industries executive Bharat Mathur in connection with a bribery case and seized ₹2.5 lakh. The duo had agreed on ₹5 lakh/application for processing three pending drone import applications by Asteria Aerospace, a Jio Platforms subsidiary. Mathur had met Devula at DGCA office and was assured approval and clearance on the same day.
