In a post on X, the Iranian Embassy in South Africa wrote, "Iran has prepared for the largest missile strike in history against Israel and US bases in West Asia." It said that the strike will be "launched immediately upon detecting any signs of an attack". Earlier, US President Donald Trump extended the ceasefire with Iran with no set deadline.
