Low voter turnout seen in Myanmar's 1st general election since 2021 coup
Myanmar witnessed low voter turnout on Sunday during first phase of general election, first since a military coup toppled last civilian government in 2021, Reuters reported. Second and third phases of the election will be held on January 11 and 25.
