UK has hiked the fees for passport applications with effect from April 8. The new fee for a standard online application will be £116.50 (₹14,329) for adults and £75.50 (₹9,285) for children. The passport fee for standard paper applications will be £130 (₹15,998) for adults and £89 (₹10,953) for children. The Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) fee has also been increased.
