The BCCI categorically denied reports that it approached former India batter VVS Laxman to replace Gautam Gambhir as India Test head coach following India's 0-2 defeat against South Africa. "The reports currently circulating are entirely inaccurate and purely speculative. Despite being carried by some reputed media outlets, there is no truth to these claims," BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said.
