Tamil music composer and actor GV Prakash Kumar fell victim to an online scam, where a 'fan' tagged Prakash in a picture and asked for help to perform his mother's last rites. Prakash replied to the post and sent ₹20,000 to help them out, attaching a screenshot. However, fans pointed out that the image had been taken from Google.
