BJP MP Tejasvi Surya reacted to Karnataka MLA and Congress leader Vijayanand Kashappanavar's demand that the Karnataka State Cricket Association provide five IPL 2026 tickets to each MLA. He said, "[His] statement is wrong. And frankly, not surprising. It exposes their priorities...If citizens have to buy tickets, so should MLAs." However, BJP's R Ashoka had earlier targeted KSCA over tickets.
