French prosecutors believe billionaire Elon Musk deliberately orchestrated a controversy around the sexually explicit deepfakes generated by Grok to boost the value of X and xAI. This could've been done to prepare for the planned 2026 IPO of the SpaceX-xAI merged entity, they said. Responding to the prosecutors' comments, Musk wrote, "Ce sont des attardés mentaux (They're mentally retarded)."
