Commercial LPG allocation will be increased to 50% of pre-crisis levels, effective March 23, 2026, the government said. The additional 20% supply will prioritise restaurants, dhabas, hotels and food-related sectors. Commercial users must register with oil marketing companies to access LPG while also applying for PNG connections as part of a phased transition to cleaner fuel systems.
