Amazon is planning a smartphone comeback more than a decade after its Fire Phone was scrapped within a year, Reuters reported. The new effort, internally called 'Transformer', is being developed within Amazon's devices and services unit, the report added. The phone is seen as a potential mobile personalisation device that can sync with the home voice assistant Alexa.
