Chinese chipmaker company MetaX Integrated Circuits witnessed its shares surge by 755% on its stock market debut on Wednesday. MetaX opened at 700 yuan a share in Shanghai, over IPO price of 104.66 yuan before surging as high as 895 yuan. MetaX, which raised $585.8 million in its IPO, saw its retail investors' portion getting subscribed nearly 3,000 times.
