Bangladesh's PM-in-waiting Tarique Rahman was asked about Bangladesh's ties with India during his first press conference following his party BNP's win in the country's national elections. "The interests of Bangladesh and its people will determine our foreign policy," he said in response. There are reports that BNP will invite PM Narendra Modi to the swearing-in ceremony of Tarique Rahman.
