All-rounder Riyan Parag has been named as the new captain of Rajasthan Royals (RR). He replaces Sanju Samson, who was traded to CSK ahead of IPL 2026 season. Parag was bought by RR for ₹20 lakh in the third and final round of the player auction before IPL 2019. He has scored 1,566 runs in 84 IPL matches.
