Oman's 43-yr-old batter Nadeem becomes oldest to hit 50+ score in T20 WC history
Oman all-rounder Mohammad Nadeem slammed an unbeaten 53 off 56 in the team's T20 World Cup 2026 match against Sri Lanka on Thursday. The 43-year-old has become the oldest batter to record a 50-plus score in T20 World Cup history, surpassing Sri Lanka's Sanath Jayasuriya, who had achieved the feat against West Indies in 2009 at the age of 39.
