2 Super Overs used in same T20 World Cup match for 1st time as South Africa beat Afghanistan

South Africa defended 23-run total in the second Super Over in their T20 World Cup 2026 match against Afghanistan on Wednesday. The match went to Super Over after South Africa and Afghanistan scored 187 runs each. The first Super Over was also tied. It’s the first time that two Super Overs were used in a T20 World Cup match.
